Terry a O誰eal

Founder/President/Executive Director

Terry a O誰eal is the Best Selling Author of young adult fiction, children痴 books and poetry. She travels the world to share her love for literature, arts and culture with youth. O誰eal has always valued the unique perspective of young people and has worked passionately to encourage their unique aspirations. O誰eal is also the founder of her own literary publications company.

Michael O'Neal

Vice President

Michael O'Neal has been an Entrepreneur and CEO since 1993, of a multi-million dollar communications corporation, PCS Direct, Inc. Michael O誰eal specializes in business organization and he is also the co-inventor of MusaLites, an apparatus used in mobile communication telephones.

Tonia M Williams

Secretary/Treasurer

Tonia Williams, received her BS in Organizational Behavior at the University of San Francisco, and is currently working for the State of California, in the Child Care Programs Bureau. She brings to the Lend Your Hand team, extensive experience working with the Employment Development Department's various programs and employment services. Tonia is also an entrepreneur of T&W Vending and is working as a Loan Originator for Global Equity Lending.

Twyla Pruitt

Arts Alliance/Outreach in Education Chair

Twyla Pruitt has worked as an Ambulance Coordinator for fifteen years at Kaiser Permanente and participates frequently at the hospitals special events. She is highly active in community services, mentoring young women at "The Birthing Project" and is the assistant for "Miss Black Sacramento." Twyla is also the Vice President of the PTA a Barbara Morse Elementary School. 

Terrence Mark Hall

Research Coordinator

Terrence Mark Hall has worked with the Sacramento County Probations Department, implementing and developing several alternative counseling programs, which have assisted with delinquent juveniles transitioning back into their respective communities. Terrence Hall is also the President and CEO of entertainment company, Markeytown Productions.

Patricia Cooley

Trustee

Patricia Cooley received her BA in Economics at the University of Pacific in Stockton, California. She has worked for Bank of America Corp. for over 15 years, holding various positions covering retail consumer to business. Currently, Patricia is working in the SBA lending department with her long time employer, B of A.

Andrea Burrise

Andrea Burrise received her BA in Anthropology at University of California Los Angeles. She has mentored inner-city high school students and aided their preparation for acceptance into the University of California school system as well as conducting anthropological studies on public school students. Andrea is also the President and CEO of the entertainment management company Big Eye Management.

Dr. LaWanna Montgomery

Dr. LaWanna Montgomery is currently the CEO and Center Director of the REACH Learning Center in Sacramento, an enhancement tutorial program for students in k-12th grades. In addition, her center provides before and after-school care for children. She is a wife and mother. She brings more than 20 years of community experience to the Sacramento and Elk Grove City Council.
