Greetings and Welcome to my website!
I pray this greeting finds you in a peaceful and joyous place in the Lord. I'm excited about what He's doing in my life and I pray you are experiencing His grace and unmatched blessings!
Just a few updates. I have recently launched my film and video production company, Phoenix Film Productions. My goal is to produce Christian themed films and programming that uplift His name and bring people to a greater understanding of His word. Keep me in prayer as I bring to fruition this long awaited dream! Feel free to take a look at our website at www.phoenixfilmproductions.com.
Thanks to the encouragement of a dear friend, I am now a Christian Relationship columnist for the Examiner (http://www.examiner.com/x-7482-DC-Christian-Relationships-Examiner). I am using this vehicle to write about single and marital relationships and the Father's intentions and promises for both states. Feel free to follow the link and check out my articles!
If you haven't already, don't forget to pick up your copy of Words to Grow On: Letters to the Next Generation. Edited by Karyn Langhorne Folan, this book features letters written by authors (including yours truly) for young people to inspire achievement beyond their vision as well as promote literacy and literary arts. It will make great gifts for the young people in your life.
His Love Is Freedom is still experiencing a successful run and I hope to complete His Love is Complete, a book of love sonnets and short stories rooted in the Song of Solomon in the very near future. I think my love birds will really enjoy it.
The last few months have been both interesting and rewarding...showing me seasons necessary to reap the benefits of the harvest. I am in the final edits of my new novel Having It All (see promo below), which I pray will be in the publisher's hands SOON. No dates this time. ;-) It's hard to work on several projects at one time, but he's giving me what I need to get it done!
Lots of other projects brewing including the novel, When I'm Ready, which is a literary adaptation of my first feature length screenplay of the same name, and the daily devotional for my teens and young adults.
As you can see, there are a few new items on the website for your perusal. Some of you are in my photo gallery! Don't forget to shoot me an email or sign my guest book before leaving. I love hearing from you and sharing thoughts and ideas.
There are a lot of exciting things going on in our country and the world today. Stay plugged in and remain faithful!
Sincerely,
V

What's the cost of "having it all"?
The heroines of Having It All (Raven, Claudette, Veronica, and Ester) know all to well what it means to live life to the fullest…or do they? In their painstaking attempts to mask their fears and insecurities in the daily perks that make up their luxuries and privileged lives, these powerhouses try to make sense of the life they’ve worked so hard to achieve. Using the setting of the nation’s capitol as a backdrop, this formidable tale centers around the lives of four ordinary (but extraordinary) women—an award-winning film and stage actress, a Washingtonian socialite, a magazine publisher, and the First Lady to a large and prosperous Baptist church. Considered privileged and powerful, these ladies are in their element when mixing with the political and social elite. But as life’s realities change the canvas of their “picture perfect” lives, each of them are faced with learning the true meaning of “having it all”—made possible by He who makes all things possible. Sensitive and humourous, this story will truly inspire one to trust in the unyeilding word of God...even in the toughest and most complicated of situations.

May God's continued peace and blessings be upon you and yours!
